These images are beautiful, are they not?! But there’s more to the story that makes them even more so… a miracle baby girl on the way. When we scheduled these photos weeks in advance for a date in January, Grace briefly mentioned how she would love some snow photos. Lo and behold, snow was forecasted for the weekend of our scheduled shoot, and the morning of we woke up to a beautiful snow here in Kansas City. Truly felt special, like a beautiful gift just for them.

If you’re wondering, how do I pull off a snow session and look as flawless as these two do?! Here are a few tips that helped! They wore boots and coats from the car to our location spot, and had a large reusable grocery bag (genius) with their shoes for the photos. We were able to keep their coats in that bag, and I’d bring them over every so often to warm them up a bit. Kept the session short and sweet with this one beautiful location!
